The Aqua Lock is the only self watering hanging basket that can be planted through the side in classic fashion.
The 33cm Aqua Lock model features a 0.6 Litre capacity water reservoir.
The 41cm Aqua Lock model features a 1.4 Litre capacity water reservoir.
Lack of water is the biggest killer of hanging basket arrangements. In peak summer, it can become necessary to water traditional hanging baskets twice a day. Self watering baskets are therefore essential. This self watering basket is effective, easy to use and attractive. So while other baskets wilt, your Aqua Lock hanging basket will remain lush and healthy.
Water can be added from above or below.
A unique capillary system connects the basket to the detachable water reservoir, drawing water into the compost on demand. Water is supplied direct to the plant's roots, where it is needed most.
With no risk of water overflow, you can even use the Aqua Lock inside a conservatory.
Traditional watering from above, wastes as much as 80% of the water supplied, through spillage or overflow. But the Aqua Lock saves water and ensures any liquid feed added is fully utilised.
