Haxnicks Fruit cages can be used to protect fruit and vegetables from birds and animals. They are ideal for young raspberries and blackcurrants; blueberries, gooseberries, redcurrants and cranberries. Made from Steel and easy to construct using the simple assembly instructions: The decorative frameworks are quickly constructed using flexible, 'push-fit' plastic joints to join the pre-cut steel lengths. The mesh covers, made from 15 mm² bird netting, can be placed over the structure and then secured to the ground with the U-shaped, galvanised steel pegs. Non-reflective 12mm black square mesh. Rot-proof. Reinforced edges for secure fixing. Rotting leaves will alter the chemical balance of pond water which is harmful to fish and plant life. Use Gardman crop and protection netting to keep leaves out and herons at bay.
