If you are not totally satisfied with your purchase from Garden Supply Direct Ltd or the service we provide we offer a no quibble money back guarantee. Please email us and ask for returns information within 7 days of delivery of your purchase for a full refund of the purchase price of your item (providing the item is unopened and "as new").


Payment

Cheques and postal orders to be made payable to 'Garden Supply Direct'. If you wish to order by post using a cheque, Postal Order, Paypal or Credit Card - print out and fill in the order form - click on the 'order offline' link above. 


Goods Refund & Returns

Please inspect your goods upon receipt, if they are damaged and require a signature by the courier please sign for them as damaged and contact us immediately. Shortages or damages must be notified to us within 3 days of receipt of your order.

Every plant & bulb we supply is covered by a replacement or refund guarantee, however certain conditions will apply. Firstly, any plant or bulb which is received damaged or in poor health must be reported to ourselves immediately upon receipt (no later than 3 days), we cannot be responsible for the bulb/plants aftercare. If you are unsure of a plant/bulbs appearance or condition please report this prior to planting , do not try to nurture the plant/bulb to full health. Should you inform us several weeks later it will be too late to offer any replacement. If in any doubt please contact us immediately for correct help and if necessary replacement or refund.

Goods Covered by a Manufacturers Warranty

We will refund/replace faulty goods up to 28 days after the date of delivery. After this, faulty goods will be covered by the manufacturers warranty if applicable.

Carriage charges for goods refused unjustifiably will be charged to the customer.

Goods returned to us without our permission will incur a £5 admin fee.

All goods remain the property of Garden Supply Direct until paid for in full.


Order Cancellation

You have the right to cancel within seven days of your contract with garden supply direct, or seven days of receipt of the goods (whichever is the longer). If you do cancel your order, you will have your payment for the goods returned. If you have received your goods they must be returned before a refund is given. Unless a product is faulty or damaged we cannot reimburse any carriage charges accrued by the customer.


Delivery (non-plant orders)

Your order will be despatched very quickly usually the same or next working day (subject to stock availability). We use different methods of postage depending on your order value and weight including Courier, 1st and 2nd class Royal Mail Packet Post.

Delivery of Bulbs & Plants

Some of the bulbs and plants listed will be despatched in time for planting as stated in their category heading. If a mixed order is placed (bulbs/plants with a non-plant order) we may hold your order until all items are available.

Non-delivery of goods

We guarantee to deliver non-plant orders within 28 days of ordering. If we are unable to deliver within 28 days we will only proceed with an order after your agreement. Royal Mail state to allow 15 working days from dispatch before an item can be classed as lost in the post. Please email us after allowing 18 working days from your order date if you are concerned about non-delivery of an order. Please check the item listing as some bulbs and plants are not despatched immediately.

Jiffy Pellets, Seed and Bulb counts are approximate.

Personal service 24 hours a day - 7 days a week.
As we don't have the room to list vast details of the products listed, you can e-mail us 7 days a week for further details, advice or to ask specific questions on any of our products.

We accept cheques from customers in "Good Faith". Cheques returned to us from the bank on which they are drawn, either marked 'Refer to Drawer' or if they are 're-presented' will incur a charge of £20.00 on each occasion, which will be charged to the customer.

All prices include VAT.

We reserve the right to increase prices without prior notice on goods or carriage.

Customers who place orders fully accept out trading terms which are final.

The Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations  

Under the Waste Battery Regulations, Garden Supply Direct Ltd are now offering a take back scheme for all portable waste batteries. Please contact us to arrange return of waste batteries to our business premises in person via email batteries@gardensupplydirect.co.uk (please do not post). Alternatively, you can find your local waste portable battery recycling facility at www.recyclenow.com Most supermarkets and shops that sell batteries will have collection bins for used batteries, and some town halls, libraries or schools may also set up collection points. End-users may find stores in their local area more accessible

You can now recycle your old electricals with us. If you’re buying a new electrical item, we will recycle your old one for free Why recycle?Unwanted electrical equipment is the UKs fastest growing type of waste.  Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment.  If you do not recycle, electrical equipment will end up in landfill where hazardous substances will leak out and cause soil and water contamination – harming wildlife and also human health. 
We can help
We are pleased to offer our customers the chance to recycle their old electrical items.  Customer who purchase a new electrical item from us can return a like for like old item back to us. You have 28 days in which to return the old item to us from receiving the new item. You (the customer) are responsible for any postage costs incurred returning it to us. To remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, it is now marked with a crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. Please do not throw any electrical equipment (including those marked with the crossed out wheeled bin symbol) in your bin.  What is WEEE?The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items.  In the UK, distributors (including retailers) must provide a system which allows all customers buying new electrical equipment the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge. Those establishing their own take-back scheme must as a minimum offer all customers buying new electrical equipment free take back of their old electricals on a like-for-like basis.
